Current Events

• September Non-Perishable Food Donations for Ed White High School – We are collecting CAKE MIXES, FROSTING, BROWNIE MIXES AND CORNBREAD as we collect for Thanksgiving Food Baskets to distribute at Thanksgiving.  We need 2 or 3 people to sort the food collected into the laundry baskets the food will be delivered in.  Please see Christina Crowder if this is something you can help with.
• September 11, Thurs. – Serving Lemonade and Cookies to the staff, parents and students at Hyde Park Elementary for Open House. – 6:00 P.M. – We need cookies to be donated for this event, fresh baked or store bought!  Please sign up on the sign up sheet on the table in the Breezeway! Please arrive at Hyde Park Elementary by 5:45 P.M.
• September 14, Sun. – Embrace Life for Single Mother’s Support Group Ministry – 9:30 A.M. – We are launching this new support group ministry, please let others know about this so we can minister to single mothers and their children!  If you would like to help facilitate a meeting, or two, please see Christina Crowder.                                                                   
• September 17, Wed. – Job Fair Set Up – 10:00 A.M. – We need volunteers to help us move tables, chairs, set up electrical cords, hang signs, and put up directional signs.  Even if you can’t do the physical work, we can still find something you can do sitting down!  PLEASE CONSIDER COMING TO HELP SET UP!!
• September 17, Wed. – Wednesday Night Supper – 5:30 P.M. – Ham  Please sign up on the table in the Breezeway, or online via Church Connect by Sunday, September 14.  
• September 17, Wed. – GriefShare – 6:30 P.M. – Meet in Adult 3 Classroom – Please see Shirley Davis, Kathy Lowery or Marsha Spicer for more information.                                        
• September 17, Wed. – Embrace Grace – 6:30 P.M. - New session starts.   We are looking for 12 different individuals to be in the meetings each week, that means you can volunteer just once for the current session.  Help us show the Brave Moms that NPBC loves them and are here for them!! • September 18, Thurs. – Community Job Fair with Better Together – 10:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. – We need MANY VOLUNTEERS to participate and minister to the Employers, Resource Partners, Job Seekers and other Volunteers.  Please see Tammie Davis for more information about volunteering!
• September 23 – November 18, Tues. – Financial Peace University – 6:30 P.M. – Please see Denise Fisher for more information or if you have questions.                                            
• September 24, Wed. – Stewardship Committee Meeting – 2:00 P.M. – Meet in the Men’s Classroom
• September 27, Sat. – It’s Fall Y’all Ladies Ministry Brunch – 10:00 A.M. – Guest speaker Kellie Moore.  Please sign up on the table in the Breezeway to bring a brunch dish for this event. 
• September 28, Sun. – NPBC Family Business Meeting – After Morning Worship Service

Future Events                                      

• October 10 & 11 - Ladies of NPBC Yard Sale – You can start bringing in your donations on September 21, and can put them in the Recreation Room (f/k/a Kid’s Junction).  We also need volunteers to help sort donations, set up donations the day before the yard sale and help for both days of the yard sale.
